BCP Q?

I got a script for the BCP (the one safe for bfing), but I still have yet to get my period. How do you know when to start taking it? I'm going to call my dr tomorrow, but feel a little silly since I just filled the script he gave me 2 months ago.

    I started taking it before I got my period. My Dr. scared me, because that's how she had her second baby- and she's an OB. So I just started taking it because she said you can be fertile before you get the period and I sure don't want to see her again until a year has gone by.

    I got a script too, but haven't filled it yet.  When my OB gave me the script he said i could start taking it right away (w/o a period).  But to use a backup method of contraception for the first two weeks because it takes a while to "take effect".

    Which BCP did your OB give you that would not diminish your supply? My OB told me he would write me one also but it would deplete my already lackluster supply?
