He's been sleeping for almost 3 hours. I'd like to try to get some water and some rice cereal into him. The doctor said to stop bottles until he stops vomiting because he'll lose more fluids than he'll be taking in.
really? the ped told you to stop fluids until he stops puking?
I was under the impression that fluids should stay on pace as long as the child is asking for them (and not rejecting them). Besides I 'd want the baby to throw up the bottle contents and not the bile. But every doc is different and I am not one.
as far as waking....hmm, no, but I am not positive....there I waver.

Please Lord, I love this baby already, we are ready when You are.
Not stop fluids, just the full bottles. She said to spoon feed him pedialyte (would be great if I had some. grrr) or water. If he is hungry to give him rice cereal or bananas, instead of the formula.

ah ok. whenI was sick and cause I was afraid Kiddo would get it, I picked up the box pedalyte vs the fridge one- thank God...you don't have a neighbor who you'd trust to go to the store?

No. I don't really know anyone in the neighborhood. I say hello to a couple of people, but that's it.
darn. I am sorry I was not closer to go to the store. Its so frustrating being pulled in two directions when you know both are best for the baby (going to the store to get the med/staying home cause he is ill..)

I was so close, but then he puked everywhere. D will be working until 11 or 12 and then will be back up and out at 6am. Hopefully, he'll be able to pick some up on the way home tomorrow evening. I just can't see dragging this poor kid out in the cold for it.
