here are ideas to keep a toddler busy!

I used to post on here but haven't been on in a while!  I just wanted to pass along some ideas that I have found to occupy my 2 year old daughter when I need to spend time with the baby.  She loves them!

1 - sort dry beans into baby food jars - you can buy a bag of 16 bean soup mix filled with dry beans and sort them by color, shape, or size (you could also do this with beads, sequins, etc)

2 - lace dry pasta shapes onto shoelaces or string to make necklaces or bracelets

3 - peel the paper labels off crayons (she came up with this one herself and it kept her occupied for the better part of an hour!)

    Thanks for sharing! My ds wants to play usually when I have to nurse dd. I feel bad telling him he has to wait, so now at least i have something to give to him to keep him occupied. Even though he has a roomful of toys, lol.
