Random question about the zoo

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months
At what age do you think you will start taking your LO? G loves to watch our dog, so I'm thinking when the weather warms up some (prob around Feb or March)we'll take our first trip. That would make her about 6-7 mo.  The Audubon Zoo in New Orleans is really good, so I can't wait to take her!

    My LO went to the zoo when sh was 2 1/2 months old and she loved it.  She was in a sling and stayed awake almost the whole time.

    We started at 8 months with DD#1. She loved it and loves it still. Of course that means that M&K have already been over 10 times. lol

    DS actually went for the first time around 2 months. Obviously didn't interact or do anything but we'll definitely take him this spring/summer and I'm sure he'll enjoy it then.

    We went last week. I'm pretty sure it was more enjoyable for DH and I to go for a walk but it was still fun. I don't think DS noticed the animals, but he likes to look at everything so he was definitely entertained- and the gift shop had cute baby clothes :)

    We'll go this summer but mostly because it's a good way for us to spend sometime outside.  Not sure it will hold her interest because our zoo is pretty crappy....:).

    We're planning on going to the Audubon Zoo this spring - and the Aquarium.  The Baton Rouge Zoo is okay so we might start there on a warm pretty day soon and see what he does before making the NOLA trek.

    Also, my best friend lives near city park.  I cannot wait to take him to the park and ride the train and go to Storyland.

    We plan to take DS either on a warm weekend soon, or sometime in Spring. There's a *decent* zoo about 30 minutes away, and we're going on a trip to DC in probably May, so we'll definitely hit the National Zoo then. 
    Contemplating the snow.
