I'm hoping to find a warm(ish) pool for swim classes for myself and my one year old. The last place we went was freezing. Thanks for any recommendations!
Our DS's classes were at L'anse Creuse North on 21 mile/North Avenue. I didn't have any problem with the water being cold. I know they just sent out registration pamplets in the mail this week... and you can look them up online.
Yep, Goldfish Swim School's pools are 90 degrees. I actually work at the Birmingham location (they just opened one in Farmington too) and I take DD to classes there. The air is pretty warm, too. They also use a saline sanitation system so there's a lot less chlorine.
I take my 2-year old daughter to Goldfish Swim School's Farmington Location (near 9 and Haggerty), and we love it. The pool is definitely warmer than the last place we tried (around 90 degrees) and the teachers for the parent-tot class are great!
Re: any pools that are warm in the area?
The Macomb Twp. Recreation Center in Macomb Township. The pools are always a warm temp. The new classes registration just started this week.
