Did you stop taking Metformin?

Did you stop taking this during pregnancy or did you continue with it all the way?

I'm still taking it (I only take 500mg once a day though).  I've got my OB appt with the midwife on Tuesday so I was going to ask then.  I just wanted to see what others are doing/did.

    My RE kept me on it, but my OB took me off cold turkey at 12 weeks.  I was taking 1500 mg/day, and my RE had put me on it he said to improve egg quality.  At 12 weeks egg quality was definitely no longer an issue.

    I reduced my dose between 12 - 15 weeks and then stopped all together.

    Clomid M/C 8 weeks 2/08 *IVF #1-DD born 3/09

    My RE had me stop taking it the moment I got my BFP. He doesn't believe there's any benefit to continuing it.

    My ob took me off of it right after the first trimester.  I stopped cold turkey and I was taking 1500mg/day.

    My RE told me to ask my OB and my OB didnt really have an answer for me. So after reading on here that most people stop after the first tri, I took myself off. I was also on 500mg (I was on 1000mg before I got pregnant, then cut it back myself). I went cold turkey and was fine.
