  Same here.  Its snowing here and what normally is about a 45 min commute turned into over and hour and a half and I am already dreading the commute home.  Its supposed to keep snowing till noon tomorrow so I might just have to call in tomorrow.

  Yep - me too.  Just think of how much more time you will have with LO once he arrives if you hang in there just a little longer.

  I feel the same way... especially now that I am so close. I did take one day off this week and then scheduled my dr. appt today for 11am so I could only work a half day...

  I am so right there with you! I'm supposed to work for 2 more weeks. I wish I had enough leave time to start now, though.

  I did call in today b/c of the snow in our area. I did not feel it was worth the risk on my 25 mile commute.

  I KNOW, RIGHT!?!?!?! I talked to the Dr yesterday and she said my leave can start at 38 weeks. Then I checked my maternity leave policy, and I can do STD at 80% before baby is born, and then still have 13 weeks afterwards. Spoke to my boss about going on leave 7 weeks from now, and of course he thought it was a GREAT idea! (We both pretty much hate our jobs).

  7 weeks to go! (not counting this one of course).

  Can't STAND it here anymore!!!!

  I feel you there. I am stuck here at work until she decides to come out. My doctor said there is no medical reason for me to be off but I want to be off now!

  I couldn't agree more.  My BIL is an OB and if he didn't practice hundreds of miles away from where I live, I would seriously consider asking him to write me out of work for good!
