  I have found that nothing works quite like the one from the hospital (RIP little buddy...dog ate him) but I found that the little while one that comes in this worked well enough...its one piece (no plugs or anything) so I think it works better
  

  Also, I went to Rite-Aid and in the baby aisle they have something called an Ear Dropper which I use as a nose picker because it's the exact same thing.

  I love mine from the hospital.  If you have a nurse or doctor friend, get them to steal one for you.  DD however does not like the one from the hospital so we bought the Safety 1st one that is battery operated and plays music ($20 Walmart) and she likes it much better.  I don't think it sucks quite as much as the hospital one but it definitely loosens it all up because anything that doesn't get sucked out usually gets sneezed out within minutes.

  Blue hospital one for sure!  I still have the one from DS and it's all that will work!

  We use the hospital one and the nosefrida.  It seems gross but works way better than the hospital bulb.
