who got the chicco keyfit 30??

in 3rd Trimester

I DID!! but i can't decide on a frame for it. which one did you get?

everything I read says there is not a frame compatible with it....but ppl still use them and they work...

SUGGESTIONS??

ETA: I am referring to a light weight FRAME

ex. kolcraft universtal infact car seat carrier

    I have a Key Fit 30 and a BabyTrend Snap and Go, and they work perfectly. It doesn't snap in, but it sits very securely, plus there's a strap for extra caution. It's a great combo, and the Chicco is a great carseat.

    I got the Chicco key fit 30 and base last week at BRU. It's an orange and gray one????....(I have no clue if it's the Cortina). I haven't bought a stroller and don't like stroller systems. I haven't bought a frame for it either.

    I used this for 4-5 months with my son.  Worked perfectly.  I heard all the same stuff about their not being a base that goes with it but after a little research found out that wasn't true.  Go to BRU if you can and just try it out with different bases.

    I'm so glad that we went and tried the carseats out with the frames in BRU before reading up on it.  I went and searched online after we'd made our decision and found all this information about the Keyfit 30 NOT fitting the Snap n Go.  It's totally not true.  Like pp said: its a great fit, even though there's no 'snap' in, and there's a buckle-in strap for extra security.

    We have both seat and frame in our possession now and they are awesome!

    I plan on getting the Chicco Keyfit for my infant seat and the Baby Jogger City Mini for my stroller. Baby Jogger is coming out with a car seat adapter this month that will work with the Keyfit.

    Thanks ladies for all of the responses. Im definintely going with the Baby Trend Snap N Go now :-)

    In regards to pp who asked what a frame is....instead of using a huge bulky travel system i am going to use this or this.
