I think I remember someone saying Always were the best pads, did I remember this right? And are there any other great products I should invest in for after delivery? Any good recommendations for good stretchy underwear?
Stool Softener - they gave me a few at the hospital to take home - but I needed them a while longer.
Tucks medicated pads
Deroplast (is that the spelling?) spray for an itchy bottom
I just bought huge Hanes underware at Target
Big overnight super pads
Breast Ice packs - whether you are BFing or not - they are soothing for engorgement.
Lanosil if bfing for cracked and dry nipples
Also set out some outfits that you may want to wear those first few days - I forgot to and was at a loss between maternities and regular clothes and not knowing what the heck fit me. Anything drawstring or elastic pants would be good.
If BFing - maternity tanks (Target had the best ones 2 years ago), sleeping bras to hold the pads in, breast pads - I had some washable - but found I liked the lanosil disposible better.
Breast pump - I pumped extra once a day to get some milk in storage so someone else could take a turn feeding the baby : )
I used the Always night time pads after I had my daughter. I used the huge hospital pads the night I had her then switched to the Always the next morning totally not as bulky and asborbed well. I plan on doing it again I went to costco and got a jumbo pkg of them.

Re: What post delivery supplies do you recommend?
I LOVED Earth Moma's Bottom Spray. You don't want to wipe down there for a while and this kept me feeling clean and minimized swelling and discomfort.
