This is our first weekly post and I am excited because crocheting has really helped me to keep from getting stressed out while ttcal.
*As previously discussed, this first post will be a place for those of us that are already knitting and crocheting to PIP pics of our WIP's (works in progress,) to share ideas and links to helpful websites and patterns and to help anyone that wants to knit or crochet to get started.
*We also have a few siggy badges being made so post them here and we will all decide which one we like the best.
*An idea we have been throwing around is to make an afghan to give to someone going through a loss. We could each make 1 block and one of us can put it together. Who would be interested in participating in that?
I found this website which looks pretty good for learning to knit or crochet so check it out if you want to teach yourself:

So I have 3 crochet WIP's right now. All three are afghans.
I am making 2 different variations on this snowflake afghan pattern:
https://www.artoftangle.com/snowflake.htm
I have 30 hexagons made in red heart white and navy so I am halfway done:
and I am also making a bright pink and green version in moda dea cheerio and TLC Amore
(I'm joining together as I go on that one.)
Finally, I am making medium sized granny squares to put together as a blanket in brown, white, blues and greens. I like making granny squares because they are super easy, work up fast and I can do them while I watch TV. I just started this one last night so these are the only squares I have done so far. THe yarn is a combo of red heart soft, bernat satin and caron simply soft.
This link may also be helpful. It is about how to make a granny square. Beginners that want to learn to crochet can probably start here:

Love your snowflakes Mimi. It might take me until next week to get any pics up, but I have a lot of photos to get moved, so hopefully progress soon.
Thanks for doing this. LOVE the idea.

OOOOOOOOO!
I knit, I want to join this group!!!
Thanks!
I figured a lot of ladies won't PIP this week but I would get it started.
This is the baby blanket I started awhile ago for my nephew. I have one more that I need to start for my other nephew. This is knitted with a simple pattern I found in my knitting book. I am using Dreambaby yarn by Plymouth yarn.
Thanks for starting this group! I'm so excited about it.
Oh, one of my favorite knitting websites:
