I'm having such horrible back cramps right now that I can barely stand up.

Thank GOD I still have vicodin and prescription strength motrin!

    That is so not fun.  I had that Monday night.  It was awful.  Wine helped though, so I'd suggest trying that (although maybe not if you're taking vicodin!).  I hope you feel better soon!

    Thats no fun. Can you take a nice warm bath? Otherwise try pain pill and a heating pad. Hope you feel better.

    I took the motrin for now and will take the vicodin before bed if I still need it.  I have a herniated disc in my lower back, and if I put heat on it, it swells and pinches a nerve.  Neat, huh? So no heating pads for back cramps for me.  Which makes me so, so sad.

    It was TERRIBLE when it first happened.  I injured it in the afternoon and tried to sleep it off.  I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and couldn't sit to pee and couldn't stand up. I made my husband get my sons potty so I could pee in it, and then I made him take me to the emergency room.  It was AWFUL!  They gave me enough narcotics to fall a horse.  That was AWESOME.  It took me about 3months to completely recover.
