Roughly - what were you charged by the hospital (not pedi visits, etc) for your newborn? Thanks!!

What the hospital charged or what we had to pay after insurance?

Total charges were around $15k. We had to pay about $1200.

Yes, hospital charges. I've had one day to figure out all our last minute benefit changes and I'm trying to calculate my deductible for a newborn on a high deductible plan. Thanks!!

The bill that said "BG my name" was $1528.10. I think BG stands for baby girl. The other bill I got had "my name" and it was $12,800. HTH

We were there for three days.

ETA: That was JUST for Tommy. Hang on and I'll find the other.

ETA 2: Hospital charges were ~ 12K

For JUST the baby and JUST the hospital, right?

If so, $2,100 for just Joshua's hospital charges. We were there for 2 days and he did not need any special care. (cirm was billed under the PED)

for max's hospital stay it was 2700.00. no complications and a 2 day stay.

After what insurance paid...we paid roughly between 1000 and 1500 (for baby--not for me--it was about the same for me)
