NE1 ever use the United War Veterans Council donation program?

I have a bunch of old cloths, household stuff and an old TV that I'd like to get rid of. Since getting rid of an old TV is a PITA (and sometimes you have to pay) I thought of having the Vietnam Vets Donation program pick them up- but I contacted them and they don't come to my town - they do come one town over, so I don't get that. But anyway, I just got a card with a donation bag in it for the United War Veterans Council. They are coming around next week for a donation pick up. They sound legit and have a legit- looking website but I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has used them before.

    DH and I donate to them at least twice a year. Last month we donated 6 bags of clothes, an elliptical, a computer monitor and an ab chair. If you leave everything marked outside your door, they will just take it and leave a receipt for you on your door.
