I have town water so I put it threw the brita filter thing (pitcher) and pour it from there to the bottle. They say you shouldn't use well water to feed your baby, but town water is fine. I still filter it just incase. I serve at room tempature.

Tap water is fine as long as it's safe for consumption and doesn't have too much flouride in it. I boiled water for Natalie until she was just over 4 months old, after that they told me the water didn't need to be boiled, because she's sticking tons of other crap in her mouth anyway....... Filtered water is good too:)
Our pedi told us that our city's water supply has a flouride concentration that is a bit high for babies. She said that too much flouride can cause white spots on teeth that haven't emerged yet.
We buy Nursery Water in the baby aisle. It's really cheap and then I don't worry about it quite as much. It is an extra expense though. I should note that LO only eats 5 5oz bottles a day. She isn't a 6-8 oz bottle feeder.
we use water from ourr water cooler. We have well water so we don't drink it ourselves. I don't even give it to my dog usually - unless we are running out.

Re: Probably a dumb ?.. what kind of water to use for formula?
I boil filtered water for DD.
Your LO has the cutest smile.
This was the exact advice from my pedi.
I would also bold the second statement, but I can't look at pics at work! I bet it's true, though!
Thanks! She's my little flirt

So she told us to use distilled water.
