Feels like fire. It can be indigestion just under your diaphram, or up your asophogus, right up near your heart. Tums should help. Or my old stand by trick of eating some plain bread and topping it off with a glass of milk. Bread first though, otherwise the milk could curddle....yuck.
Like I'm dying...no joke. It depends, I have lots of different symptoms. Sometimes my chest is burning like a dragon is in there spitting fire. Sometimes I gag and cough. Sometimes I feel like there is a large chunk of nasty in my throat. Others I get super nausuas and dry heave....and other times I get vomit burps. So, yeah, if you think you have it, you most likely do. Grab some Tums and see if that helps. Good Luck
From the internet... What does heartburn feel like?
A burning feeling in the chest just behind the breastbone (the sternum) that may radiate upward toward the neck.
A feeling of pressure or pain behind the breastbone that occurs after eating and may last as long as two hours.
Chest pain that occurs when bending over or lying down, especially soon after eating.
A burning sensation in the throat, usually accompanied by a hot, sour, acidic, or bitter tasting fluid at the back of the throat and/or in the mouth.
A feeling like food coming back into the mouth.
A feeling like food is sticking in the middle of the chest or throat.
Tums helped me for the first bit but now I need Zantac 150. If it gets worse doc said he can give me a once a day prescription. Smaller meals helps and avoiding tomatoes.
I have ARD (Acid Reflux Disease) - sort of heartburn but all the time. For me it feels like a bubble in my chest that I can't burp out (sorry -TMI) and a 'burning' feeling in from my chest up to my throat.
Actually, it's quite odd, since getting the BFP, my ARD has all but gone. I take a couple Tums as needed now for some occasional heartburn... but this has been a reversed symptom for me.
