Mom and/or Dad groups in the Annapolis Area

I am looking for a group for moms and/or dads that has activities for kids in the afternoon and weekends.  In my searches, I have only found one group and wanted to make sure that it was the best one.  The others seem to cater to moms having multiple babies or those who plan to stay-at-home.  Our plan is to have me return to work as soon as FMLA time runs out, so having a support group with this in mind would be ideal.  Thank you for your time and comments.

    Check out the MRE mom and dad group -- it's not just for Eastport parents, and it's been so great to me!

    Just google the link and you can get on their email lists, receive invites to the get togethers, etc.

    Ditto - MREmomsanddads.com is fantastic- we went to playgroup today and had a blast!

    Oh- it's a BIG diverse group- some SAHM some WOHM some WAHM, some SAHD, etc.  Also there are a good amount of weekend and afternoon activities- family happy hours, etc.
