Changing Table Question...

Is there any reason I couldn't use a regular dresser like this:

as a changing table (with the little contoured pad on top, of course)?

I just bought my crib (SQUEE) and the Ikea black-brown color will match it perfectly, so I thought it might be a good route for the secondary furniture in the room.

That's what we use. Not the Ikea one, but just a long short dresser. Works GREAT!

I think thats the smartest idea actually. They will be used for SO much longer than an actual changing table.

That's the EXACT setup I have in the kiddo's nursery. Not that I have used it yet, LOL.

I don't see why not ... and that's what we're doing ... a dresser instead of a changing table that we won't be able to use for longterm ...
