Reed has very light blue blue eyes. They lightened up very quickly whereas Penny's eyes are an inky blue color. She is four months old now. Do you think they will stay dark blue? Her eyes are crazy dark.

Well, Cal's almost 13 months and who knows if they'll continue to change, but they started out a deep, dark blue. Gradually grew to a lighter blue in the early months. Then gradually turned into a "blazel" (blue/hazel) - almost green, which is where they are now. I believe the same was true of my nephew at this age and his have gotten darker since (he's 3.5 years now) - but not a full-on brown.

Fentons eyes have always been a dark blue, they have never changed.

Toodle's started out VERY dark blue/gray (so dark that in pics, even at a couple weeks old, they looked brown already). I think they were definitively brown around 4 months old maybe? Not sure. They're without question brown now.

My DD's eyes started out dark gray... they were muddy around 6 months, really dark brown by 1 year and have stayed that way.

J's eyes started out dark blue - by age 1 it was obvious that 1 was lighter blue and the other was blue/brown hazel. By 18 months or so the hazel one turned all the way brown and the other was light blue - they are still the same (1 blue, 1 brown).

Henry was born with dark blue eyes - they've gotten a lot lighter (now he's 7 months) and I can't imagine they'll be anything but blue.
