used breast pump?

anyone get a used one or thinking about it?!!?!? Our hospital doesn't rent them anymore and I would like to find a Medela PISA if at all possible but really didn't want to spend the $300-350 for it if the LO doesn't take well to BFing.

any thoughts?!?!!?

I got a used Medela PIS pump on craig's list for $100, then bought all new tubing and attachments.

I know they aren't technically supposed to be used for more than one person, but the milk doesn't touch any part of the pump, only the attachments, which are new. So, I don't feel wierd about it. I'm actually loaning my pump out to a good friend of mine once I'm done with it this spring.

What Lydia said. I'd also add that if you can get the motor tested (lactation consultants do this) would be good. A poor motor/suction can do harm to your breasts and supply

I did this as well. I bought one (medela swing) and I am borrowing my sisters pisa. I think its fine with new tubing
