Have you or SO made LO spit up from playing?

DH felt HORRIBLE last night bc he was playing with DD and lifted her gently in the air.  Well her belly didn't like it and she spit up all down him, the couch, on the floor all the way to the kitchen sink.  She laughed when she was done and was fine but DH was soooo upset with himself and felt like a horrible father.  I told him this happens to most Dads (I was assuming it does from stories I have heard from people). And I reminded him that since he has done it once he learned from it and won't let it happen again.  He still feels bad.

Has this happened to any of you or your SOs did they take it really hard?

    ohhh and DD never spits up.  She maybe has 5 times and only while pooping lol.

    .. this just happened to me.. LOL...  I feel bad for him, but he ends up laughing afterwards...

    DD rarely spits up. However, FI was playing around with her and lifting her above his head right after she had eaten. I have told him numerous of times to NOT do that but he doesn't listen. Needless to say he no longer does this.

    This has started happening whenever we do tummy time with J. And usually he ends up doing a faceplant in his spit up before I can get to him. We wait an acceptable amount of time after he eats to start tummy time so not really sure what the deal is. DH felt horrible the first few times it happened.

    Yes, DH was holding him up over his head and DS barfed all over his face. It was gross and funny at the same time. DS laughed.

    Our DD doesn't spit up that much either, but she has spit up on DH two or three times now. I tell him when he takes her to be careful because she's either just eaten or it hasn't been that long since she has... but he's a man they never listen! *lol* Poor guy!
