Pregnant the month after mc

I found out on Sunday that DH and I are expecting again.  I had a confirmed blighted ovum mc last month.  My numbers returned to 0 on Dec. 7 beta,.  Dr said we could keep TTC.  I went for my first appointment yesterday and they did an ultrasound.  At first the Dr. said we should be able to see the yolk sac but then all they could see was the thickening of the uterus.  Has anyone had experienced this?  My doctor did my first beta and I go again on Wed. for the second.  I am so nervous!   Has anyone had an ultrasound so early that they couldn't see anything?

    Were you charting or temping? Do you know when you O'ed? You just may not be as far along as you expect. I would keep an eye on those beta numbers, especially if they double, and go from there.

    I don't have experience with what you are talking about since it took us a few cycles post mc.

    Congrats on the new bfp! It is really, really hard to date a pg right after a loss without a period in between. The earliest u/s I had was 5w2d for my 2nd pg, and it was just a small yolk sac and corpus luteum. Hopefully in a few more days you'll get to see more, and good luck :)

    I do not know when I Od.  Thanks ladies.  I am really hoping to have a successful pregnancy this time around.
