I might be joining you... help please!

CryingSo I need some advice.

My boyfriend and I are finally doing better. I've just decided that I have to trust him and I'm trying. It's really hard though.

Well we've had sex 3 times since the baby was born in October. Twice we used condoms and one time we didn't. I'm stupid for not saying anything but I figured I was fine because I've been taking my birth control religiously. Well the night after our 3rd time, I woke up SUPER late and hadn't taken my birth control. I'm on that mini pill that requires you to take it at the same time and if you are 3 hours late, you've "missed" a dose. Well I take mine at 9 AM and I didn't wake up until 1 PM. So I REALLY missed a dose. This was  the day after and it was really close to when I started taking the pills.

I had one period around 6 weeks postpartum but now I'm 13 weeks postpartum and I've had nothing else. One of the nurses at my doctor's office says that between my mini-pill and breastfeeding that I may not have a period. But now I'm paranoid that I might be pregnant again. I ABSOLUTELY CAN'T HAVE ANOTHER BABY! I don't even have money until the 15th to pay for a p-test.

 please help me ladies.

    I'm sorry you're scared.  It's definitely possible your cycles are just out of whack, it does take some time to get regular again.

    Could you go to a Planned Parenthood for a pregnancy test to find out for sure?  Or if you have a Dollar Tree near you, they sell tests for $1.

    I feel for you! I am sorry you are scared, too! If it's any consolation, I thought I was PG last month too because I have been soo bad about my pills. I took a couple tests and they were negative. I think your body can just be out of whack after having a baby. My little one is almost 4 and half months, I don't BF and still haven't gotten my cycle.. You are prolly OK. I didn't know about the $1 tests, but that is a good option. Free clinics and Planned Parenthood cold also put your mind at ease.

    With my first I had my first pp period at 10 weeks and didn't get my second pp period until 17 weeks.

    With my second I had my first pp period at 14 weeks and didn't get my second pp period until 20 weeks. 

    So, it's likely that your periods are just out of wack.
