Back from 24w appt and U/S.

Baby looks great. Dr. said that my FH is 26 which is obviously ahead and i expressed my concerns about Makayla being a huge baby since I was almost a 10lb baby. She said they would keep an eye on things to make sure she doesn't get that big.

She also told me to watch my weight gain. Yes, I am the same person that up to 19w hadn't put on a lb and somehow in 5 weeks I've managed to put on a whopping 20lbs. Thank you Christmas!

Our U/S went great! Makayla was being about as difficult as possible and was spine up the whole time. The tech finally had to give up because she could not get all the shots she needed but said he had enough. Baby's belly is measuring 25w4d and baby's head is measuring 24w so she's doing just fine.

Also, DH ended up going with me. He worked until about 10pm to make sure he could get most of his work done. He apologized for acting like he didn't care and said he would try harder.

    I'm glad your DH went with you and that you had a good u/s.  My FH has been measuring 2 weeks ahead ever since I first started getting measured.  It seems like it's pretty common.  Yay for big healthy babies :)

    Aw, that's great Kate! I'm so happy Makayla's doing well and the u/s went great. Congrats. And it's great your DH ended up going with you too. That must have been nice. Smile

    I'm so glad things went well. And VERY glad DH came around! I was wondering if he was working too hard. My DH can be a real jacka** when he's tired.

    I'm glad you had a good appointment, and that DH came around. I think men just don't realize how important it is to us that they be there, I know my DH often has the "what's the big deal?" attitude. BUT it all worked out in the end, I'm so happy for you!
