Happy and sad

Last night Lexi was so fussy and we finally got her to bed at 12. She stayed sleeping till 8:30!! It was so nice. I hope it conitnues especially b/c my sad part is I go back to work next week.

How was everyones holidays? Do anything fun?

Boo to having to go back to work! My holiday was good, how about you?? All I did was take care of DH since he had to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed

So glad that she slept in till 8:30! DS was the worst sleeper EVER (he didn't start sleeping until 6 months, I swear!) & I had hospital clinicals where I had to get up @ 4:45 to get him up & to MIL's- I think I must have been a zombie (really don't remember it though!). Hope things go smoothly for your return to work.

As for the holidays, we really had a great season. DS was actually aware of what was going on & it was great to see him take everything in.

Nothing too wild and crazy over here - we finished painting and the mini reno on the master bathroom....now we're working on Sophie's room. I can't wait to get it all set up!!!!

I think it was something in the water. Noah went down easy, but was up at 10:30 wanting to play. We didn't get him back to sleep until well after midnight. Seems like a lot of my friends with kids had the same problem too.

Our holidays were good and bad. They went by way too fast as always. Noah still isn't really aware of what's going on. I think he was actually mad that all the presents were taking over his normal play area. He just sat playing in the kitchen while everyone was opening presents, but he did love his presents once they were open. He did start opening presents near the end. Then in the evening on New Years, he started getting sick. So this weekend was spent taking care of a sick baby.

Way to go Lexi on the sleeping thing...!!! When Owen started sleeping longer it started like that.... then eventually the bedtime got earlier. I hope she starts doing that soon!

Enjoy her this week, going back to work sucks but you'll get used to it. You will probably spend most of your work time thinking about her or looking at her pictures.

It's great that she is sleeping well now. Max used to sleep first three months and now is getting up every 2-3 hours. Last night he decided that at 4 am he had enough and just wanted to play. I am walking dead without any sleep for 2 months now. Holidays were OK, we wanted to start potty training Sasha and convert her to toddler bed, we gave up right away since she wasn't ready. Other then that they were super cute, we played a lot etc.

My holidays were good to! Dh and I were given a date night from the ILs were they gave us their tickets to Jersery Boys and paid for our dinner at my fav place in windsor. DH found a bubble tea place while we were checking out downtown and it was so good. I am obsessed with bubble tea. They also babysat Lexi for us.

Other than that the holidays are always go go go but I still love them.

Yay that Lexi slept so long!! Amazing!

And really, your leave went by in a flash; I can hardly believe it. But I will be glad to have my email buddy back, even though it's sad you have to go back already!
