Two Under 2

This is 2u2...

I finally get #2 down for a nap and #1 is crying...F me. All I want is 10 minutes...

Re: This is 2u2...

  • This was me this afternoon but in the opposite order!  #1 went down so easy but his sister (#2), refused to take a nap.  When I finally got her down, he was up...uugh!

I was not happy, especially since I think I have the flu.  Not fun when you have two to take care of while DH is at work all day!  :(

    I promise it gets easier.

Hope #1 chills out so Momma can have a teeny tiny break!

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
  • That stinks! Neither of my girls naps, so I don't get a lot of breaks during the day, but they can play together so I can get 10 minutes to myself.

  • happened to me today too!  Got #1 down for a nap, she's sick right now.  Then #2 woke up crying 10 minutes later.  The joys of 2U2!
  • I knew you guys would get it, lol.

I actually let #2 cry for 5 minutes and she fell back asleep.

  • ah yes, sounds familiar. At least your #1 napped. Mine has decided that's optional.
  • happens to me all the time.  #2's nap schedule is changing so i can't seem to get 5 minutes to myself...at elast they both still nap though...soem moms don't even get that!

    It is rare!

  • I hear ya!  Neither of mine really nap anymore.  Sometimes they both have to have quiet time in their room or a "slumber party" on the living room floor so that I can get a break.

  • I feel your pain....aargh.   Your girls are super cute, so that's gotta help - right?  :)
