My not smart move

So last night I was making gumbo for dinner and while cutting up the green pepper I sliced my index finger. I tried to keep going just holding a paper towel on it to try and stop the bleeding and that was not successful. So eventualy I had to fess up to DH that I couldn't get it stopped and we had to go to the er. I ended up waiting about 2 hours but luckily they were able to glue it so I didn't have to get stitches. I also learned that there can be some strange people in the er.
