pampers extra protection and pampers baby dry

i had gotten a sample of pampers extra protection (for overnight) and used it on ds.  i liked them, but dh is at the store right now and he is only seeing the pampers baby dry?  are these the same thing?  the sample advertised the extra protection as the overnight diaper....are the baby dry's something different?

  • I've used (and liked) both and the only difference that I see is in price. The extra protection is always more expensive and you get less for your money I think. I would go for the baby dry. Haven't had a problem with them yet.

  • They are different.  Baby dry are the "cheaper" Pamper's diapers.  The extra protection are the overnight diapers.

  • They're different.  We were using the Baby Dry for overnights and switched to Extra Protection about 3 weeks ago.  He's still peed through his diaper on occasion, but he also eats about 12 oz overnight.  I like the Extra Protection better, personally.

  • Cruisers and Baby Dry are daytime diapers, personally i prefer Baby Dry over Cruisers, I think they hold more urine.

We use the extra protection overnight, they really hold a lot of urine, especially when your LO sleeps 12-13 hours.

So, I buy Baby Dry for daytime and Extra Protection at night.  You won't go through that many Extra Protection because essentially you should be using one per day at night considering your LO sleeps all night.
