Moms of three...car recomendations?

We are desperately in need of a new car, my husbands car has broken down twice in the past two weeks and the check engine light is flashing at us now.  Its been a long time coming, but we need to stop sinking money into it and get a new one. I think i'm paying my mechanics mortgage, which is great for him since he has two houses :)   We are thinking of getting a larger car that will fit three kids (we currently have two but want one more in the next year or so).  Any recomendations?  My current car is a Jeep Grand Cherokee which I like b/c its not too big but it won't fit a third child when the time comes.  So the thought is we buy a family car and my husband can have my Jeep for commuting to work.  That way we won't be looking to buy yet another car when the next baby comes.

    I'm getting a mazda 5. Much better gas mileage, and I'm over having such a large vehicle (van).

    Love my Odyssey. Said I would NEVER drive a mini-van, now I won't touch my DH's Grand Cherokee. My friend has a Sienna which she loves.

    Sorry, but I'm with the other mini-van moms.  I love love love my Toyota Sienna.  My cousin has an Odyssey and she loves that too.  We wanted an Odyssey but Toyota was more negotiable and nicer (in terms of customer service).  Plus we got 0% financing for 4 years and we love it.

    I'd get a minivan if you don't need 4 wheel drive...I do so I drive a Nissan Pathfinder w/ a 3rd row seating--which is OK, but less than ideal for 3 kids in carseats.

    Mini-van Mom here.  I believe there is one make of vans that do an all wheel drive.  I am thinking it is Toyota, not sure.  I have a Dodge.

    I love my Mazda 5. It fits our family of 5 perfectly. But when you use both of the back seats there is only enough room for an umbrella stroller.  I had to put one of the seats down to fit my double.

    We have 4 kids & LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our Kia Sedona.  Lots of room inside for 2 car seats, 1 high-back booster seat & one growing teenage boy AND a friend!

    We are looking to buy a used van at the end of this month. The one I found that I really like (and I'm crossing my fingers it will still be there when we can buy) is a Ford Windstar. We have a Ford Taurus now and swore we'd never go Ford again but we really like it.

    Thank you everyone!  I've started to look up all your suggestions and am sending out inquiries for more info and quotes.   You girls are great!  Who knew the best way to get info about cars etc was to go on a parenting message board!
