1st day back at work

So today was my first day back after 7 amazing months! I missed Matthew like crazy but I kept my composure the entire day. Pumping in a book room twice a day is not that bad. I look at it as a break from all the crazies at work.

When I picked him up he screamed so loud like he was pissed off at me! It really was funny. His nanny said he was a bit cranky but ate all of his food like a champ and drank just a little bit of BM.

I'm hoping that I get the hang of juggling a home, work and family!

You did it!!:) That's so funny that Matthew seemed mad, he was probably like "wtf mom?!?!" lol. I'm sure both of you will get used to it soon! And the fact that he ate his food good there is a good sign!!

Wow, congrats on not crying! I know I cried my first day back (um, first week back). I look at pumping the same way--taking a short break! Anyhow, you did it! You'll get the hang of it. Don't be surprised at a few bumps along the way, but you'll do just fine!
