There has been a lot of talk on AP about extended rear-facing lately... Lisa, didn't you post an article about this a while ago?  Anyway, I didn't put a lot of thought into it because I hadn't had my LO yet.  Now that he's here and in his big car seat, I'm so glad I read about this again.

So, just another PSA in case some of you haven't read about it.  Here is one link, and there are a lot of crash test videos on youtube as well.

    Thanks for posting this.  DH is dying to turn Jenna forward facing.  I am NOT in a hurry at all.  I sent this link for him to read. 

    Ideally, I would keep her RF as long as possible, but once baby boy comes along, I will have to FF her in my car b/c there won't be room to RF anymore....

    I was excited to turn him until I realized that RF is exponentially safer. He hates the carseat and I thought FF would make it better. But he doesn't know any different at this point, and as a friend of mine always tells her kids, "safety is more important than fun!" :)
