Are Boogie Wipes worth it?

I saw a post about them the other day. E has her first cold, and her poor nose is super crusty and gross. Are boogie wipes significantly better for this than baby wipes? Should I buy some when I'm out today?

Re: Are Boogie Wipes worth it?

  • i just buy a box of the sensitive wipes for winter and just use those for boogers. they are soft and unscented.

  • We're old fashioned.  We pick them and flick them.  J/K just use sensitive wipes.  If he gets crusty we just soak a wet/warm towel there to loosen the gunk and then wipe.
  • I have had the same pack of boogie wipes since she was born. I wont buy another pack, I will use wipes when this pack is gone.

  • When DS had a cold and had the crusty nose...we used saline spray then used soft kleenex.  If his nose started to get a little irritated, I dabbed a bit of vaseline and smoothed over.  It worked great!

  • IMO - I find that baby wipes work just as well and are a ton cheaper.
