2nd Trimester

On the verge of tears....

Ok its a little silly but still I am either going to cry or throw a tantrum.  I get in to work this morning, after 11 days off :)  and we have an email from saying that they(coworkers- we take turns) are going to clean out the fridge at 10 am today and reminding us to label our items. I had brought a bag with leftover ham from a late Xmas we had  weekend so I take a marker and put my initials on it.  I set that on top of my container of green beans seeing as we have NO masking tape here and I dont really want my initials permanently on my nice container.  Well one of my friends emails me and says they took his container out of the fridge and left it out....and suggested I make sure to go check my food.  So I go and sure enough my container is sitting out as well.  I go to put it back in the fridge and my ham is GONE!  Ham and beans is all I packed for lunch.  Its freezing here today and I really dont want to go out in the cold OR buy fricken lunch when I brought a PERFECTLY good one!  I found some ramen in the bottom of my desk drawer so I will be eating that I guess.

 Thanks for letting me vent,

hormonal pregnant HUNGRY mama.

  • That suuuuucks. And I don't understand why they would clean out the fridge before lunch anyway?! I'd cry too.

  • SO rude! Normally our work gives us more of a heads up than that! :-P
  • I would have flipped my top. Why are they cleaning out the frig #1 on a Monday and #2 before lunch. Can't they do that on a Friday afternoon when everyone has eaten.

I sympathize with ya girl before our Christmas Holiday someone ate my mid afternoon snack of yogurt. I thought I was going to pull an Office Space and light my cubical on fire!

Hope the Ramen fills you up and hope tomorrow is a better day!

  • That's awful (both that they set out your food and that someone stole your ham)!
