  • 8oz? If it were Mase I would totally dreamfeed. That's a significant amount and I like my sleep too much. Big Smile

  • I'm in that same situation.  LO went down at 7pm.  She usually goes down at 8pm after a bottle.  I have no idea what's going to happen now.
  • It probably can't hurt to try but it never worked for us. DS was so asleep and he never are in his sleep..he woudl take a suck or two and pass out and it was a struggle..but if it works for your LO try it out!

  • Luke went to bed without a peep and is about to cross a magical threshold.

I would let sleeping babies alone or so a wise woman just told me.

  • I wouldn't. How else will you know if she's ready to drop this feeding?
  • "Never, never, never wake a sleeping baby!  Are you CRAZY?!  NEVER!" - My 92 yr old grandma upon learning that my LC told me to wake her in the middle of the night to nurse her.

  • I totally would.
  • I would say, "no" to not wake Baby D.

If she normally STTN, she still may since she's used to that without waking in the middle of the night to eat.

One day of being down in oz is okay. I only say that from experience with my DS. Some days I panic that he hasn't eaten enough and either the next day or over the next few days he'll go back up.

Other pp say to wake and dreamfeed so you'll get both responses on here.

Just be ready with a bottle first thing in the morning!

    Good luck!

  • I would. I always woke a sleeping baby to keep him on schedule.
