Re: how often does your 2-3 week old wake up...

  • When DD was 2-3 weeks she was waking up every 2-3 hours. She's gone back to doing that this past week too. I think she's going through a growth spurt.

  • My little guy wakes up every 3 or 4 hours
  • She's waking about 2-3 times depending on when I go to bed (and what you consider nighttime).  She goes about every 3-4 hours.  Last night I fed her at 11 and then I was in bed by midnight.  She woke at 4 then again at 8.

  • 2-3 times between 10pm and 6am. Depending on her formula/BM intake, DD typically sleeps 2-4 hours at a time.
  • At that point he was the same as he is now - down for the count by 11p or so, up between 2-4a and again between 7-10a, and at the second feeding we were usually up for the day 'cause he's up for a bit.

  • it takes her a while to fall asleep, usually around 11pm, and until 3 days ago she was waking up at about 1am and about 4am, but the last 3 nights in a row she slept 5-6 hours and woke up just at 4-5am and then morning! it was amazing! we are up for about a 45min when she wakes in the night, 30 min or so to eat and then 15 minutes for a change and then getting her back to sleep.

ps: our LO's have the same b-day, and I'm pretty sure we got induced the same day too, didn't we? (12/10)

  • 1-2 times.  It was twice the first week or so (around 2am and 6am).  The last 2 weeks we've had more nights with 1 feeding, but we still have some with 2.  If we get 1 it's about 3am and he's up again about 7:30/8.
  • My LO has a weird schedule yet.  Some nights she was doing okay, waking up every 2-3 hours, eat and then fall right back to sleep. Then there are some nights where she will wake up at 1 or so for a feeding and not go back to sleep until 6 in the morning. But then once she fell asleep she was out for about 5 hours. I am still having trouble getting her on a schedule and getting her to sleep at night.
