  If you do use Lirah, you should consider spelling it Lyra. Lirah is not a known spelling for that name, and it might cause a lot of confusion and misspelling.

  A friend is using Lyla Grace. She also considered Rose, Katherine, Caroline and Claire.

  Is Lirah pronounced "Leer-a"?  I have a friend with this name and think it's really unique and I like it, but she spells it Lyra, which I prefer over Lirah.  Even if it's pronounced "Lie-ra", I still prefer the Lyra spelling.

   I love that idea too - but my maiden name is VanNorstrand and I couldn't do that to the poor little one! LOL

  I really love some of those suggestions. Lirah is pronounced "Lee-rah", but I really love the "Lyra" spelling too.
