Would you visit?

My grandmother is REALLY sick in the hospital. She has pneumonia and they just put a feeding tube in her (among all the other tubes she apparently has going in her). I was on vacation when she got bad, and so I haven't seen her since Christmas. My mom mentioned to her that I would want to come, and she doesn't want me there because she doesn't want me to catch something. We are pretty nervous this time with how sick she is...WWYD?

    Do you think she is going to be able to go home soon?  If so, honestly, I wouldn't.  There is so much sickness in the hospitals right now.  If you do decide to go wear a mask the whole time and don't forget your hand sanitizer.

    I would go, wear a mask and take precautions and not stay too long. I've missed opportunities like this before and regretted them. Just take care of yourself and you should be ok. Let the hospital know (they may not pay attention to your belly) and they will provide you with ways to protect yourself. Hope she gets well soon!

    I would go wear a mask and just stand away from her bed. 

    I am sure if you are only there for a few minutes it would mean the world to her!  You dont want to look back and regret that you didnt got.

    Would you feel comfortable wearing a mask? I think you could regret it if god forbid something happens and you didn't get to go see her.

    Go....today.  This is just from personal experience.  If you wait till tomorrow or to see if she comes home she may not be awake/alert emough to know it is you or worse she may not make it.  Not to sound negative or anything but this happened to my dad with his uncle.  Everyone was going one day so he said he would wait till the next and his uncle was in a come by then and never got to say goodbye.

    I would definitely go. Let the on duty nurses know your pregnant and they will tell you what you should do when there. I'm sue you'll be fine. You wouldn't want to miss this opportunity.
