Caring for baby books

Which ones do you recommend? I feel like I'm clueless and want to pick up a book or two.

Re: Caring for baby books

  • I really hate the What to Expect books. They're so fatalistic. I would go with something like Your Baby: Week By Week. It's inexpensive and I believe Walmart and Target sell it. It's been, by far, the best book I've had because it breaks everything up into a week. So I only have a few pages to read a week instead of having this ginormous reading project and feeling overwhelmed.

  • I just picked up the Dr. Sears book called "The Baby Book."  It seems ok so far...  His sleep book was great! Abby sleeps 5-6 hrs at a stretch now (not every night, but beggars can't be choosers!)!!  Good luck!

  • I actually liked babies for dummies, it was very matter of fact and well organized. It's been a good reference when i am wondering about something.
