DD Laughs When I Say "No"

Help! My 19 month old laughs and thinks it's a game if I say "no!". It's a little variable on her mood. (ie., if she asks for something and I say no then she gets upset - per a normal toddler) But if she's doing something wrong/dangerous and I take a harsh tone, she laughs.

I know it's my fault for cracking up early on but now I'm consistent. If anyone has advice (and hopefully not too many judgments) or books that address the subject I would be most appreciative!

I hear ya! Same with my 19 month old. I try to just be firm and not smile. DD seems to understand my tone and facial expression, better than what words I'm saying.
