Babies: 9 - 12 Months

If you live somewhere warm, I need some advice.

We are going on a family trip to Florida at the end of March. DD will be 6.5 months, and since we live in the great white north, I feel really lost as to what I should bring for her clothing wise. We are going to be going to Disneyworld (OMGOMGOMG) and hanging on the beach a lot.

Suggestions for how to dress her and things I should make sure to bring would be great! TIA

  • I tend to overpack so I may not be the best person to talk to but I would bring some warm clothes but mostly "fall" season clothes.

  • Honestly, you may have to take a bit of everything. I'll be cool in the morning, war - hot during noon, and cool - cold in the evening. Because of the water coming in, it carries a lot of different temps with it.
  • The South is unpredictable, especially in the spring, so I would bring a good mix of clothing.  Layers are your friend.  I usually put a onesie underneath whatever C is wearing, and if it warms up during the day we can just take off the top layer.  Bundling up probably won't be necessary, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.  Bring a warm coat, a light jacket, a swimsuit, eye protection (a hat or sunglasses if DD will wear them), and sunscreen.  Disney is going to be so much fun!
    I HAVE CHILDREN.
  • Sunscreen and a hat that covers LO's neck.
