Anyone expecting twins?

If so...I was wondering what your HcG and progesterone levels were and in what week you were in when they were drawn.

I got mine drawn at 4wks 2days and they were both really high (HcG 619, Progesterone 65.67) I don't get my 1st u/s til the 25th, but I just wanted to know about where I stand.

I was reading that there are both good and bad things that could be associated with increased levels, so I was trying to just stay positive!

    did you do a 2nd draw?  you need to have another level to compare to.  My 1st hcg 4w5 was 2,410 2nd draw 2 days later was 4700.  at my u/s on monday they did see 2 sacs one is empty they are calling it vanishing twin syndrome but they are rescanning on the 12th to make sure its absorbed.

    I had very high levels with my DS and my friends levels were much lower and she had twins i had a singleton.

    Go to the www.betabase.info

    You can get ranges/medians there for singletons, twins, etc.

    FWIW, I have a singleton and beta at 4w3d was 1350.  I also had m/s before 4 w.  My OB checked for twins but only one.  GL!

    The general answer on the multiples board is that betas aren't really indicative of a multiples pregnancy.  Your progesterone is more likely to be a better indicator.  The only way to know for sure is an u/s.

    For what it's worth: 23 dpo 2632 and 25 dpo 5161.  Which if I rememer correctly were not even on the high range for a singleton.

    My first pogesterone draw was at 8dpo and it was 58. My first beta was at 13dpo and my HCG was 259 and my progesterone was 125.

    At 14dpo (4w) HCG was 403, progesterone was 40.6, at 16dpo (4w2d) HCG was 885. Progesterone was not drawn again. Hope this helps.

    My HCG at 4w1d was 398. At 5w1d it was around 7800. I can't remember my progesterone, just had it drawn once and they said it was normal.

    I have heard of really wide ranges for HCG level - when are you able to get an ultrasound?

    This is the only level that they have drawn. I have my first u/s appt. on the 25th (at 8wks), so I don't know if they will draw another level then or what. I was just a little worried (of course), and read something about a molar pg or multiples and so I was just wanting to see where I compared with you all. Thanks for your input!
