prayers please

I can't believe how many times I've had to type that subject lately. My stepmother went in for her brain surgery this morning. While they were admitting her, my dad was showing visible signs of duress. Sweating, shortness of breath, confusion. The nurses fast tracked him in the ER and they are running all kinds of tests. They think its pneumonia but nothing is conclusive yet.

They put him in a room in ICU so he can room with my stepmother when she gets out of surgery. I guess they were going to put him in intermediate care, but he's only ICU so he's with his wife.

I am so scared. When my step brother called me, everything he was telling me was in the past tense and I thought my dad died. I was hysterical before he got to the point.

Anyhow, prayers for my dad and my stepmother. Her surgery is 8-9 hours. She went in at 7am.
