So, I still have two provera pills left, but af just started (same happened last time on provera/premarin too). Yay!!! Good start for 2010. This month I am starting clomid for the first time. Since af started late in the day today, should I count today as CD1 or tomorrow? Also, last month I finished my last two provera/premarin pills even though af started. Since I start clomid CD3, that should probably still be OK to do, right? I can call RE to be sure I guess, though by the time she calls back it'll be too late I'm sure (they take 2-3 days to return calls).
Thanks! : )
Re: Af just started...clomid question!
I remember that my RE said that if AF comes while I am taking Provera, then I can just stop taking the pills. BUT I don't want to tell you to stop taking them just in case your doctor wants you to finish them!
hmmmm so I guess I am not much help
sorry
My RE has always told me to stop Provera if I get a real bleed (not spotting).
As for cd1... it's hard to say. My old RE used to use 3pm as the cut-off. So if AF showed before 3pm, that day was cd1 but if AF showed after 3pm I was to count the following day as cd1. My new RE, however, doesn't care - if AF shows on 1/1, that day is cd1. Normally, I'd say call your RE but if it takes so long to get a callback, I guess I'd call today cd1.
Unfortunately I'm no help on the Provera since AF always starts after I finish the pills. As for CD1 my RE's office says it's when you get full flow just like pp. I forget if they have a cut off time.
Sorry it doesn't seem like I'm a whole lotta help either! lol
