How much for child care?

I know this varies greatly from place to place, but I may be watching a 3 month old part time and am not sure what to charge.  It would be the daughter of a friend of mine (not a close friend, more of an acquaintance), and I would be traveling to her house with my son.  My son will be 9 months at the time I will be watching her.  Just curious what people pay for daycare, in-home care, etc.  Any info. would be great.  Thanks!

    I pay 20 dollars a day, regardless if we are there are not. I teach, and I dont pay on days that I am not contracted to be at school. So its roughly 400 dollars a month. Thats from 7:20 to 5:00 (I am usually there way before 5 though).

    I would research what prices are in your area and go from there.

    $80.00 per day, if what I charge. I go to someones home, and I bring DS with me. I am there from 7-3.

    Not sure how much this helps but I live in a NJ suburb of Manhattan and we are paying $1625 for full time at a day care center.

    Around here most in homes charge $100-$110 a week.

    I am in Iowa and run an in-home daycare and charge $125 a week for infants up until age 2. HTH.
