When did you first feel movement? When did you feel movement on the outside? I found out yesterday that I have one.. the tech wasnt surprised at all that I havent felt movement yet.

  • About 19 weeks is when I felt movement, just lightly though and 21 weeks on the outside.

  • Hey there!  I am lurking from PAaL.  I had an anterior placenta too.  I felt twinges at 17 weeks but felt real movement by 20.  It was like a rolling feeling.
  • I felt the first popping like feeling around 19 weeks if I laid on the couch really still.  By 21 wks my DH could just feel it on the outside. Fast forward one month and I feel like LO is trying to break out!  I can't imagine how it would feel with a different placenta placement because now I feel a lot. My doc told me that I feel less than other people but since I have no comparison it doesn't bother me!  Hang in there you're almost at the fun part.

  • I felt the first definitive movement at the same time as DH felt it from the outside.  It was a series of kicks or punches.  It was at the end of 20 weeks, almost 21.
