I have been looking for something specific for the nursery, but can't really find it. Today I saw some fabric that would be perfect. I only need half panel sizes. I do have a sewing machine, which I understand the basics of. Is this something that can be done on a somewhat beginner level?
(I am not talking anything fancy at all, just a basic hanging)
Re: Has anyone made curtains?
This might help you out:

I made a valance for DD's room two days after buying my sewing machine with absolutely NO experience at all. I can only do simple basic straight lines and I did it! Good luck!
Curtains are easy. You can even find no-sew patterns for them.
I made curtains for ds's nursery at our old house and I barely knew how to thread the needle! I ended up making basic panels and they turned out really well. I suggest double-checking all your measurements though since that seemed to be the most difficult thing for me!
