Should I see Avatar for my DH or make him see something else?

I want to do dinner and a movie since DD is at a grandma and grandpa's house. He saw Avatar last week with his buddy but really really wants me to see it with him. I really have no interest in it and would rather see something else but I feel bad because he really wants me to see Avatar.

If I suck it up and go, am I going to enjoy it? Opinions please. Thanks!

    Everyone that I have talked to that saw it loves it!  It does not seem like my style, but I really want to see it based on the reviews.

    I would probably see it.  Most of my friends who have seen it, even the ones who were leery to go, loved it.

    I went to see it with my DH, and I just absolutely loved it. It was really good, and the graphics were phenomenal. I want to see it again, and I usually don't like movies that have 'action' scenes.

    I did not want to see it, but went anyway. It was A.MAZ.ING. We saw it in 3-D which I highly recommend. The visuals are absolutely stunning.

    Glad you decided to see it!  I did the same...saw it for my DH.  I was loved it and he was super appreciative that I went! BTW - if you can see it in 3D, it's really the best way to go!  Enjoy!

    I'm the odd ball here; I didn't like it.  I thought it was a very pretty movie and the ending was nice, but it was way too long for me and it just seemed to keep going on and on.

    I thought I wouldn't like it, and I LOVED it. If you can - see it in 3D. It was awesome.
