As everyone knows, my MIL & SIL are the drama starters in the family. They would tell you that it's me and that they avoid drama, when in reality they think the world revolves around them. ***Let me note that my SIL is married to my dh's baby brother---she is NOT her daughter, but her DIL just like me.....

They like to think that you have to be perfect to be in their life. Since my dh went through some rough patches and was laid off and we're not sporting name brands, driving a new car, or living in land of the blissfully ignorant, we're not "perfect" enough for her---no, let me say that DD and I aren't perfect enough. She has a MAJOR obsession with wanting me to bare a son for her boy and her response to me being his wife is "You'll have all girls............There's nothing like the love of a boy"..............THROAT PUNCH here!!!!!!!! I ADORE MY DAUGHTER and I don't care what I have there is nothing like the love of a CHILD. A child. Not just a boy. My dh has seriously contemplated calling her out on this one-------but he's a big mama's boy and until of lately he had totally blindfolded himself to seeing what she did to me. It took a lot-------almost a divorce----for him to see it.

SO yes..................although THEY would say that they're drama free, I don't think telling your son that he "needs" a boy is drama free.

I could have so written this. Evidently, I'm a manipulative lying b*tch and everything I do has an ulterior motive. So, I totally avoid them as much as I can.

For the most part my family, including both sides of my extended family, is very drama free. Soon to be ex SIL is enough drama for everyone though. She's a 21 year old FH with 2 kids from 2 different dads. Her and my brother met on myspace and got married less than 2 months after meeting. She's now taken all his money and moved in with baby daddy #1. She's stolen from my family, threatened to kill me, and had her grandmother threaten to sue me (for "harassment" when I blocked her from all online contact after sending me horrible messages) I can't wait until their divorce is final!
