Important Question

Do I make this cake as a layer cake or in my new bundt cake pan?

Hershey's Perfect Chocolate Cake

My nephew asked for a chocolate cake to celebrate his birthday...and considering his grandfather died on his real birthday (Tuesday) I am for sure going to make him the yummiest chocolate cake I can.

  • Gah!  I know I should do the extra work and make the layer cake.  I guess I was just looking for an excuse to be lazy.

You ladies say layer and on FB I'm hearing bundt.

Does it matter that I have to  make 2 loaves of french bread as well?

  • I love a layer cake, but I think I'd use the new bundt pan if it were me :)

  • Could you do a bundt and cut it in half and use the yummystuff to glue it back together?

A 2 layered bundt would be awesome!

That does sound yummy but I don't know if I trust myself to pull that one off. LOL  I'm a decent cook but I'm still a novice baker.

DUDE.  I just had an awesome idea.  Put some filling into a piping bag and insert into the bottom of the bundt cake.  A la a twinkie or those badass "faustess" cupcakes.  Yes.
