Casey-boy or girl?

When you think of the name Casey-do you think of a boy or a girl? We just came up with this name because my name is Kristen and DH is Chris...together it makes KC --> Casey.

my sister's name is kasey, but i love it for a boy as well. it is more common for girls these days, but i don't think it's one of those names that can never go back to being a legitimate boy's name.

Kacie, Kasey=girl

With the Kacie spelling you would get both the K and the C from your names

Casey is one of the few names I think legitimately can go either way. But, if it is for a boy, Casey is the only acceptable spelling.

I guess I'm the only one who thinks "dog" before girl and boy. I know at least 4 dogs named Casey. No offense, I actually think it's a cute name so I don't mean to be rude about it. Aside from the dog connections, I guess I'd agree that Casey with a "C" usually = boy (though I do know a girl named Casey who is 30) and Kacie/Kacee/etc definitely = girl.
